How to Gracefully Answer a Client’s Question (When You Don’t Know the Answer)

Picture this. You have been working to get a meeting with this client.  The type of client that would take your business to the next level.  You worked all morning preparing what you would say and how you would say it.  You're finally in front of your new potential client.  You are doing an amazing job of conveying everything you wanted to and more. You are starting to pat yourself on the back, and then it happens, your client asks a question that you have no idea how to answer. Maybe they are generally curious, maybe they are throwing you a curve ball to see how you will handle the situation.  Nevertheless, nothing is coming to your mind and you freeze.

What do you do?  What do you say? Panic starting to creep up.  You're facing one of two options.  Make up an answer or admit you don't know.  A lot of people face this same situation, but we are here to help make sure the next time it happens you are prepared with the right words.
